🇬🇭 STATEMENT OF CONGRATULATIONS AND NATIONAL APPRECIATION ON STEM AND ROBOTICS Excellence the Ghana Students Association of Research, Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Creative Arts (GSAREICA) extends its highest commendation and sincere congratulations to all Ghanaian students, schools, coaches, and institutions that have distinguished the Republic of Ghana at the Robofest World Championships and other international STEM and robotics competitions held in the United States of America 🇺🇸.
These outstanding achievements reflect not only individual brilliance and institutional excellence, but also the growing global reputation of Ghanaian youth as emerging leaders in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).




The consistent success recorded over the years is a testament to discipline, innovation, teamwork, and the deliberate national efforts to strengthen STEM education across the country.
GSAREICA wishes to particularly commend the participating schools and teams, including Prempeh College, Opoku Ware School, Mamfe Methodist Girls’ Senior High School, as well as other participating STEM academies and robotics teams whose contributions continue to elevate Ghana’s global standing in innovation and applied sciences.
The Association further recognizes and commends all students who participated in these competitions.
Their commitment, resilience, and excellence under competitive international conditions demonstrate the strength of Ghana’s human capital and the promise of its future workforce in advanced technology and innovation-driven sectors.GSAREICA acknowledges the strategic policy direction and educational investments that have supported the expansion of STEM education in Ghana.
In particular, the national focus on establishing STEM senior high schools, equipping laboratories, and promoting technical and vocational education has contributed significantly to creating opportunities for young innovators. These developments have been supported under successive national education reforms, including initiatives advanced during the administration of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, which placed emphasis on expanding access to quality STEM education.
These achievements align with Ghana’s broader development agenda of transitioning towards a knowledge-based economy anchored on innovation, research, and technological advancement.
They further demonstrate the effectiveness of sustained investment in human capital development as a driver of national transformation.GSAREICA, as an association dedicated to the promotion of research, entrepreneurship, innovation, and creative arts among students, considers these accomplishments a significant affirmation of its mission. The Association remains committed to supporting initiatives that nurture creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills among young people across the country.
In this regard, GSAREICA respectfully calls on the Government of Ghana, development partners, private sector institutions, and non-governmental organizations to further strengthen investments in STEM education. Priority areas include the expansion of robotics laboratories, enhancement of teacher capacity in emerging technologies, provision of scholarships for STEM excellence, and increased international exposure for student innovators.
GSAREICA reiterates that the success of Ghanaian students on the global stage is not incidental but the result of structured effort, strategic investment, and the resilience of young people who continue to excel despite challenges.
